On 14th November 2025, the Ganol team conducted a meeting with the Balnangre community under Rerapara Block, South West Garo Hills District, to discuss the formation of the Village Project Implementation Committee (VPIC) under the project. Balnangre village is inhabited by the Garo community and comprises 104 households.

A review meeting was held on November 13, 2025, in the NIC Conference Hall, Tura, West Garo Hills, to discuss the progress, key issues, challenges, and overall status of the MegARISE project. The meeting was chaired by Shri Vibhor Aggarwal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, WGH, Tura.

On 11th October 2025, a meeting was held with the Headman, VCF, and Village Secretary of 12 Mer Village under Laitkroh Block. The meeting followed a drone-based Land Use Land Cover (LULC) analysis, which identified approximately 131.5 hectares of barren land and 77 hectares of open forest, highlighting strong potential for plantation development.

On 10th November 2025, the EKH CMU team held a meeting with the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills, to review project progress and discuss the way forward. The session, also attended by the ADC, highlighted key action points such as building villagers’ trust to enhance participation, protecting springs during rejuvenation works, seeking expert advice before using cement near water sources, coordinating with the Water Rejuvenation Task Force, and involving BDOs to strengthen field-level implementation.

The event was a vibrant celebration of creativity and imagination, featuring both Drawing and Storytelling Competitions.A total of 27 enthusiastic contestants participated, representing diverse backgrounds and age groups.
