On 4th November 2025, the Ganol Catchment team held a community meeting at Rongonagre Village to to facilitate the formation of the Village Project Implementation Committee (VPIC). The village consists of 24 households, inhabited by the Garo community under Rerapara Block in South West Garo Hills District.

On 4th November 2025, the Ganol Catchment team held a community meeting at Akkakigre Village to initiate the formation of the Village Project Implementation Committee (VPIC). Akkakigre is a Garo-inhabited village with approximately 60 households, located near Wakantagre and New Harigaon under Rerapara Block in South West Garo Hills District.

The Umiew team organized FPA Contest No. 1 at Madan Ingsyiem

The Umiew team organized FPA Contest No. 1 at Madan Ingsyiem on 7th October 2025. The event was marked by enthusiastic participation from the local community, especially school students, and aimed to encourage creativity and awareness through Drawing and Storytelling Competitions that highlighted local culture, environment, and heritage. A total of 45 students participated in the said event.

Executive Committee Training held at Ganol Catchment Management Unit (CMU)

The Ganol Catchment Management Unit (CMU) conducted Executive Committee Training at Lower Damalgre Community Hall under South West Garo Hills District, and at Rongram Horti-hubs under Rongram, West Garo Hills District on the 3rd & 6th October 2025, respectively. A total of 22  Executive Committee members represented from eight(8)  Village Project Implementation Committees (VPICs). The training is to give an overall understanding of the project objectives and have the knowledge to support project implementation effectively.

Financial Participatory Approach (FPA) Contest 1 held at Umiew Catchment Management Unit (CMU)

The Umiew-CMU team conducted FPA 1 at Dongiewrim village under Mawphlang block on the 3rd of October, 2025. The event saw participation from 20 contestants in Group 1 and 7 contestants in Group 2 for the Drawing Competition, where the children showcased their creativity and artistic skills through drawings that depicted themes related to environmental protection, the impact of human activities on nature, and possible solutions for conservation.
