Joint Field Inspection at Mylliem Mawsawa VPIC

On 11th October 2025, the CMU team conducted a joint field inspection with Bah R. Mawdong, Junior Engineer from the Water Resources Department, at Mylliem Mawsawa. The visit aimed to assess the feasibility of proposed interventions such as retaining walls, spring chambers, check dams, and irrigation canals. The inspection was joined by the Chairman and VCF of Mylliem Mawsawa.
The following interventions were found feasible:

Retaining Wall at Mawlong Hon
Check Dam with Retaining Wall and Irrigation Canal at Rum Muri
Check Dam with Diversion Canal at Mawbrei
Dugout Pond with Canal at Mawbrei
Spring Chamber with Canal at Mawbrei
Retaining Wall at Mawbrei
Irrigation Canal and Retaining Wall at Pdengbr
