The two-day review brought together teams from the catchments and SPMU to reflect on progress and outline the roadmap for 2026. The Deputy Project Director shared key sector updates, followed by presentations from CPMs and SPMU sectors on 2025 achievements, indicators, challenges, and plans for the coming year. The Procurement Specialist reported on procurement status, and the Technical Specialist presented the 2026 plantation update. Technical sessions covered the Silt Sedimentation Study (WRD Shillong) and Medicinal & Aromatic Plants (Project Scientist, INR-MBDA).
The Implementation Consultant team recommended strengthening MIS, aligning the Result Matrix, and promoting realistic planning. A major milestone was the joint preparation of the AWBP 2026 (Plan A, B & C) by SPMU and CMU teams.
The meeting concluded with certificate presentations, including special recognition for field-active staff, and wrapped up with team-building activities such as football, maw-point, tug of war, and tambola.
